. The world was changed in 1844, that year Samuel Morse demonstrated the Telegraph to congress. He sent out a message from the Capital to his assistant in Baltimore. Moments later his assistant responded with “What has God Wrought?” What indeed. Samuel Morse opened a new way of communicating, which would eventually lead to telephones, Cell phones and video conferencing. Without Samuel Morse is not only the inventor of the Telegraph and Morse code, but in some ways, he is the grandfather of social media.
