Andrew Jackson and his foul fowl
Andrew Jackson the seventh President of the United States owned and African Grey Parrot. The bird’s name was Poll, Jackson taught Poll how to curse like a sailor, which he found entertaining. However, at Jacksons funeral in 1845 the foul fowl proceeded to go into a cursing tirade. It was so horrifying to those in attendance they had to have Poll removed from the service. I am sure Jackson found his pet’s impromptu cursed filled tribute amusing.
